Sending off

Today went to Changi Airport to send one of my spec off who is going to Australia for his further studies....Bought a sweater/jacket for him cos there is four seasons over there so it's quite useful for him....Doesn't cost that much but its the thought that counts..haha

Saw him n his eyes were red....but its expected cos to leave ur loved ones n go to a remote n strange place is quite emotional.....got to re-adapt to the new environment n start all over again is not that easy...wishes him gd luck for his stay over there...

Toto 10 million draw is coming up on this friday nite....i think the whole of singapore will be stuck to their tv at 10pm hoping that the 7 numbers they bought will make them instant millionaire...
I myself is no different from them, harbouring this thought also..haha....DREAM DREAM DREAM!!!

Back track for 1 week

Was "retrenched" officially on WED...ahahah...actually no la....the CNY project is over so they no longer ned pple to test n configure the system. The retrenchment package given to me was my pay for 12 1/2 working days...haha.....This job pays well but too bad no more...haizz...jobless again....

So to chinese new yr....went to help out my dad at his stall....from 7am to 6pm....quite tiring....my job over there was to give changes back to the customer...long time no use my brain liao abit rusty...ned some time to do some calculation...haha.....

Had reunion dinner on sat as usual..den sun went from east to west den back to east again...the cab fare was quite frightening.....gamble abit to get some CNY feeling but lose few dollars....dunoe y gamble lesser nowadays....

Today i submit my registration for SMU...so hopefully can get a place there though not that easy..cos if selected ned to go for interview n write an essay...imagine not touching english language for 5 yrs....At the same time i also will register for SIM in case SMU fails.....

Got to find jobs again.....hopefully can find a temp job that can last till july......Wishes myself gd luck in advance....

Clothes hunting

Sat n Sun went to bugis n queensway respectively to buy chinese new yr clothes...walk n walk n walk yet only get 1 set....a short sleeve shirt n jeans..sianzzz....tot of getting mayb another t-shirt so hopefully by these few days can see the one i like....

Today went to work only to be informed that we are not required....felt disgusted...shitty feelings...so in the end went bugis den national library n stay there for 1 hr plus....after that went PS to watch I Not Stupid 2 since i got 2 free GV tickets.....Quite touching...touched on reality life in family, sch n gang.....so worth watching it...ok thats all for 2dae....slpppppp!!!

Lazy me...

Too lazy to type so no update these few days...anyway updating once in awhile will be more interesting..hehe....

Bo liao so read horoscope from newspaper....say that i will find some treasure from debris...haha..so hoping that debris will appear in front of me......

Work-wise, everything is quite ok lo but i'm hoping the govt job pple will call me back for 2nd interview....Sianz sianz sianz....getting more tired with each passing day....isit not enuff sleep??
Think i getting old n weaker....mayb ned to sleep earlier la......

Good day or Bad day???

Went to work as usual...Finally saw my boss in person after only communicating to him through phone over the past 1 wk....had been wondering wat type of person he is...1st impression seems not too bad....but time will tell the truth in the near future...so hope all these impressions stayed as it is...

Rushed back home at lunch time cos i got an interview at MICA (Ministry of Info Communication n Arts) for the post of webmaster....Quickly changed to my formal attire b4 rushing off again...luckily i managed to reach there 10mins earlier....Was told to wait as there was someone being interviewed....

Called in to the room by a lady....asked me to take a seat n when i turned into a corner....i had a shock...4 person were sitting there waiting for me...i was caught off guard...didnt expect tis.....
Trying to calm myself down by relaxing abit though quite difficult...

Ask me to start off the interview by introducing myself n i told them wat i learned n did during poly times.....Asked me y i apply for tis job, goals n objectives to be achieved etc....i was juz toking non-stop n some of the things i said properly got no link...cos abit gan jiong liao....They also asked me whether i'm comfortable in creating website or section of website with min supervision not once but twice.....i got to ans comfortable cos if i didnt do so, wats the pt of me going for the interview....

Now came the worst part....they asked me whether i got any questions to ask n i said NO!!!!WTF.....saying no questions doesnt do u any gd during an interview cos they would like to see how interested u are....i was too anxious to leave the interview as soon as possible that i neglect tis aspect...i think i have totally screwed up tis interview....Starting the day so brightly yet ending it in such a day..haizzz.....

Wat A DAY!!!!!

Monday BLUES!!!!!Woke up reluctantly at 7am preparing to work.......Met up wif stupid "Mingdy" at potong pasir mrt station.....proceed to wincor after breakfast....Reach there n wait for 1/2 hr b4 our working room is opened....A great day indeed as we had basically nothing to do from 9am to 11am until a guy asked us to fix up the keyboard....

As there isnt sufficient equipment to finish up the remaining keyboard, we got no choice but to wait again....then at abt 1215pm that same guy come in n ask us go for lunch till 130pm...he said if anybody questioned that, say it is his instruction.....so we were overwhelmed!!!1/2 of the day had gone n we have already earn 35 bucks for doing 5mins work??haha.....

But that was the start of our lousy stupid day!!!!!reached jackson coffeeshop for lunch....by then it was storming outside...we were caught off guard by the rain....no choice but had to go around places to buy umbrella...Didnt noe umbrella cost so much nowadays 6 bucks!!!tot can get 1 for 3 dollar..haha

In the end we give up the idea n looked for cardboard instead....very lang bei rite....reached wincor drenched n that Mingdy lousy shoe gave him problem...so he walked sibei slow......complaining his shoe was of water..see la!!!buy shoes wif holes..zo mo zo mo!!!

Upon reaching, he took off his shoe n sock....cant imagine wats the smell in there rite...haha
Actually no smell la....den gave him suggestion of putting newspaper in his shoe so that it will dry faster....Stil there was nothing for us to do...so we were stil quite happy n we play number games n writing chinese character.....den came the shocker....

i received a sms from my in-charge at 330pm saying we can go off....imagine 530 is reaching soon n we receive tis news!!!!so we were wondering how will we be accounted for 2dae in terms of pay....So many questions marks...zZZzz....

Juz when we stepped out of the building, rain fall!!!!so suay already stil kanna tis....sianz 0.5!!!
Then we discussed abt the issue n decided that we muz clarify properly wif him..if not we will "eat" by him...He gave us assurance that he will settle everything with us on wed....so hope everything goes well on that day....

Wat a DAY to start the week!!!! A sign of something bad with more to come in the coming weeks...
